Foundations of balanced cooking - live online class

Begin the year fresh with a crash course in how to cook and care for your body in spring!

In these three hours together we will explore how you create a simple meal by using available spices, pulses, grains, and vegetables that are accessible where you live. It’s a hands-on workshop that I guide from my kitchen, you will be in your kitchen cooking with me in real-time. By using your pots and pans, your stove, you will easily be able to follow along and also recreate what we make after the class.

Ayurvedic food is more simple than it sounds. In this class, you will learn the foundations of this art of cooking, and how you can keep cooking this way afterward. We will cover the basic principles, what every Ayurvedic kitchen needs, and which food items could be good to have at home for simple access.

You will learn how to:

  • Understand why you might not feel great after the holidays

  • Get tips and tricks for how to eliminate the root cause of symptoms

  • Use spices with more ease

  • Balance your body in spring

  • Cook quick easy meals that will make you feel great

  • How to stock your kitchen with foods that will taste delicious and make you feel great!

This is how it works:

  • One week before the class you will receive a shopping list, tool list, and more information in an email. Add my email (hello@areyouvedic.co.uk) to your contacts so the emails don’t get lost!

  • We meet on Zoom and cook together on Saturday the 15th of January, from 3-6 pm CET and eat together afterward. Find your time zone here.

  • After the class, you will receive a summary of the recipes, a recording of the class, and information about what we spoke about.
