Meet your facilitators
Roshi is a licensed psychotherapist, life coach, and certified somatic breathwork facilitator with over 10 years of clinical experience. She collaborates with corporations to promote wellness and mitigate work-related stress. Specializing in trauma and somatic-informed approaches, Roshi employs techniques such as somatic release breathwork and altered state practices to address the whole person—mind, emotion, and body.
Through these holistic methods, clients gain heightened self-awareness and clarity, allowing them to understand their thoughts, release pent-up emotions, and begin cultivating the life they desire. By clearing the body, we clear the mind, unlocking new potentials for authentic and full self-expression.

Rosanna Holmström is a certified breathwork facilitator, athletic breath coach, and yoga teacher. She has extensive experience coaching diverse individuals, including corporate groups and athletes. She guides clients through breathwork techniques to enhance physical performance, manage stress, and improve well-being. She also lectures on stress management, highlighting breathwork’s transformative power for reducing stress and enhancing mental clarity. Her teaching style blends firmness with gentleness, fostering a supportive yet challenging environment that promotes personal growth and resilience.

Lisa Åkesson is a multi-faceted coach and musician. Her journey has taken her around the globe, organizing over 20 transformative retreats. Welcome to an evening carefully crafted by Roshi, Victoria, and Lisa. We will begin as always at FemRisings events to check in and arrive in the circle together. Following we will move from the head to the body with therapeutic dance guided by Victoria and eventually allow the breath, guided by Roshi, to take us deeper working with nervous system regulation to clear out anything that doesn’t serve us anymore. Live drumming and singing will be interwoven throughout the workshop by Lisa and at the end, she will close with journaling, introspection, and sharing to wrap up the evening together. Begin the year fresh with a crash course in how to cook and care for your body in spring!
In these three hours together we will explore how you create a simple meal by using available spices, pulses, grains, and vegetables that are accessible where you live. It’s a hands-on workshop that I guide from my kitchen, you will be in your kitchen cooking with me in real-time. By using your pots and pans, your stove, you will easily be able to follow along and also recreate what we make after the class.
Ayurvedic food is more simple than it sounds. In this class, you will learn the foundations of this art of cooking, and how you can keep cooking this way afterward. We will cover the basic principles, what every Ayurvedic kitchen needs, and which food items could be good to have at home for simple access.
You will learn how to:
Understand why you might not feel great after the holidays
Get tips and tricks for how to eliminate the root cause of symptoms
Use spices with more ease
Balance your body in spring
Cook quick easy meals that will make you feel great
How to stock your kitchen with foods that will taste delicious and make you feel great!
